So, let’s start with the over-standing of the 5 of pentacles and its meaning in relation to divination and tarot. The 5 of Pentacles presents a predicament of anxiety, worry, and loss. Being an earth suit its most likely that this predicament involves one’s finances/money or work.
The number of the suit being 5, connecting it to the 5th Sphere of Tree of Life, Herukhuti – Divine Protection/Geburah – Severity. We are informed of challenges and their impact being liked to a meteor hitting ones newly built home.
The 5th Sphere is associated with the fiery planet Mars, whom on a lower level is impulsive and combative. With a higher principle he is the protector and enforcer of divine law, the law of cause and effect, Karma and is the epitome of the Supreme Beings offensive fire. So yes he is warlord whom also maintains balance which is real Justice.
This cards element being Earth we are to understand that there is a drive or pull to establish permanent security which through the sign of Taurus is reinforced.
Taurus being a sign motivated to secure ones needs through the application of one’s skills being utilised as a resource. Then with a little steady focus and regulated action, a kingdom is established. Based on one’s identification of personal needs and a willingness to satisfy these needs through active work.

This is the Path of the Major Tarot Card, ‘Judgement’. Ruled by the element of fire/life-force and denotes, a major decision, a crossroad, a change of a cycle.
The energies of the 8th Sphere are the seat of the lower vibrations of Mercury and is the seat of egotism and the illusion of segregation. It is conditioned by our upbringing and learning at the seat of the 10th Sphere. So again, we are being reminded that we are not trapped in our past and that our intellect has room to grow. Only when or if the realisation of its limitation being its own level of development is understood and transcended.
So, to conclude;
The first ten days of Taurus under the rulership of the 5 Of Pentacles can be problematic. One may be feeling tension in the area of the life associated with money and finances. This could be a loss of job, a decrease of funds, some sort of resistance or delay to plans or a complete overhaul of well laid plans.
This may be a period of increased stress which will require a perspective shift to harness the motivation that has brought you thus far. This becomes evident with the preceding card of the 4 of pentacles – earthly power.
This is the problem, your stability is disturbed or being fought against (5th Sphere = Mars = warrior), yet the card that follows is the 6 of pentacles – success! Need I say anymore😊! But I will also highlight that the ‘Ace of Pentacles’ and ‘Princess of Pentacles’; are linked to the season of spring and its spark of success and abundance through its own fruitfulness.
The ‘Prince of Pentacles’ oversees this period also, whom is the heart of reaping what you sow, labor and work. All of which are intimately connected to the 5 of Pentacles.
Yes, things may be rough during this time, but this period provides an opportunity. A chance to lighten your load of unnecessary focus and depletion of energy through the power of loss. Loss, both stimulates and awakens real Purpose and productivity.
The worst thing you could do at this time is to throw in the tower or wave your little white flag of surrender. Their will be many battles in the war of life, some you must lose in order to be victorious. The quest continues as you still have the breath of life to execute changes, with such one secures their success.
